Studies

She is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice in the composition class of prof. Alexander Lasoń. She expanded her studies at Conservatorio dall’Abaco in Verona, in the class of maestro Federico Zandon (under the Socrates-Erasmus program). She also took part in the Summer Academy of Music in Wrocław, in the class of prof. Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil.

Competitions

2020

2nd prize at the International Composers’ Competition in Vienna for Septem verba… for symphony orchestra.

2019

1st prize in the orchestral music category for ICON for symphony orchestra and the 1st prize in the choral music category for Gloria Patri… for a cappella choir at the International Composers’ Competition in Belgrade in Serbia.

2018

Two distinctions in the “Creative composer” International Competition for Composers in Milan, in the categories “Live string orchestra” for Sicut in caelo… and in the “Instrument of the word” for Psalm 119 for a cappella choir.

2017

Finalist of the International Composers’ Competition “Musica per archi” 2017 in Lviv for Ego sum for string orchestra.

Representant of Poland in the final of the Antoni Dworzak International Competition for Composers Praga-Seoul at the Prague Conservatory.

2016

Finalist of the second edition of the Maurice Ravel International Competition for Composers in Bergamo.

3rd prize at the Polish National Competition for Composers in choral composition “Wrocław – European Capital of Culture” for Oratio pro pace.

2015

2nd prize for In principio… in the “Chamber Music” category at the XII International Competition for Composers “Donne in Musica” in Belgrade in Serbia.
